Add an Image to a PDF

Add your company logo, a passport photo or a scanned office stamp to an existing PDF.

How to use

  1. Choose a PDF, then choose a PNG, JPG or WEBP image.
  2. Drag the image where you want it and resize it from the corner. Turn on Remove white background for a stamp or logo photographed on paper.
  3. Choose this page, all pages or the last page, then tap Add image and download.

Good to know

JPG and PNG images are added as they are, so photos keep their full quality; very large photos are scaled down to keep the PDF a sensible size. A PNG with a transparent background sits cleanly on the page, like a real stamp.

Remove white background makes the white paper around a stamp, seal or logo transparent. It works best on a flat photo with even light and a white background; it is not meant for removing backgrounds from photos of people.

The image keeps its shape on every page, even when a document mixes portrait and landscape pages. The original pages are untouched and nothing is uploaded.

Questions

Which image types can I add?

PNG, JPG and WEBP. HEIC photos from iPhones should be converted to JPG first.

Can I put the logo on every page?

Yes. Choose All pages and it goes in the same position on each page.

Will the image look blurry?

No. JPG and PNG files are embedded without re-compressing; only very large photos are reduced to about 2400 pixels on the longest side.

Can I add a company stamp?

Yes. Photograph the stamp on white paper, turn on Remove white background and place it. Remember a stamp image is not a digital signature.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Both the PDF and the image stay on your device.
