Privacy: the camera picture and your images are read on this device by an engine that runs in your browser. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent, and the list is cleared when you leave the page.
Tips: fill most of the frame with the barcode, avoid glare, and hold steady for a second. For printed labels a straight, well-lit photo works best.
Questions
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in Chrome, Safari and other modern browsers on Android and iPhone. Allow camera access when asked.
Why does the browser ask for camera permission?
The scanner needs to see the barcode. The video stays on your device and is never uploaded; you can stop the camera any time.
It says no barcode found. What can I do?
Take a sharper, closer photo in good light, without glare. Very small or damaged codes may not be readable.
Can it read many images at once?
Yes. Drop up to 50 images; each one is listed with its codes, and you can download them all as a CSV.
Is it safe to open a link from a QR code?
Only if you trust it. Check the address shown before opening; codes on posters and stickers can be replaced with fake links.
