Good to know
Days between = later date − earlier date. From 1 to 10 March is 9 days; counting both days it is 10. Leave applications, rent periods and fixed deposits often count differently, so check which one you need.
Weekdays are Monday to Friday over the same span, and weekend days are the Saturdays and Sundays. For a 6-day week or to remove holidays, use the working days calculator.
Leap years are handled: 2028 has 366 days. Dates are counted on the calendar, so time zones and daylight saving do not change the answer.
Questions
How many days are there between two dates?
Subtract the earlier date from the later one. This calculator does it exactly, including month lengths and leap years.
Should I include the end date?
Include it when both days are part of the period, such as leave from 1 to 5 March (5 days). For "how many days until", leave it off.
How many days are left in this year?
Keep today as the first date and enter 31 December as the second, then tick "Include the end date" if 31 December should count.
Does it count weekends?
Total days include every day. The weekdays and weekend days rows split that total into Monday–Friday and Saturday–Sunday.
