Good to know
Each text box is written onto the page in a standard font (Helvetica). The existing content is not changed or removed, so this is for adding text, not for editing text that is already in the PDF.
For now only English letters, numbers and common symbols can be added. Writing Hindi into a PDF needs an embedded Devanagari font with proper shaping, which is still being built; the tool tells you if a box contains Hindi.
Line breaks are kept: press Enter in a box to start a new line. A size of 10–12 pt matches most printed forms. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Questions
Can I edit the text that is already in my PDF?
Not yet. This tool adds new text on top of the page. Editing existing text needs a full PDF editor, which is planned.
Can I type in Hindi?
Not yet. Hindi needs a Devanagari font engine that is still in progress. For a Hindi name, the Sign PDF tool lets you type or draw it as an image.
How do I move a text box?
Select the box and drag the small handle on its left. With a keyboard, focus the handle and use the arrow keys.
Can I add text on several pages?
Yes. Use the arrows under the preview to change pages and tap to add boxes on each one. All of them are saved together.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
