How to use
- Write one line per day: in time, out time, break minutes (e.g. 09:30 18:00 45).
- Use 24-hour times or am/pm, like 9am - 6pm 60.
- Optionally add your hourly rate to see the pay.
Good to know
Each line is worked out as out − in − break. If the out time is earlier than the in time, the shift is taken to end the next day, so 22:00 06:00 30 counts as 7 h 30 min.
The total is shown as hours:minutes and as decimal hours. Payroll uses decimal hours: 40 h 30 min = 40.5 hours, not 40.30.
Lines that cannot be read are skipped and a warning shows how many, so you can fix them. For overtime pay above normal hours, use the overtime calculator.
Questions
How do I calculate my total working hours for a week?
For each day take out time minus in time minus breaks, then add the days. Paste your times here and it is done for you.
What format should I use?
One day per line: in time, out time and optionally break minutes, separated by spaces, commas or a dash. 09:30 18:00 45 and 9:30am - 6pm 45 both work.
Does it handle night shifts?
Yes. If the out time is earlier than the in time, it is counted as ending the next day.
How is pay calculated?
Decimal hours × your hourly rate. It does not add overtime premiums, PF or tax.
Is my data stored?
No. Everything is calculated on your device and nothing is sent anywhere.
